After his highly successful Hangover, Todd Phillips grabbed the bearded Galifianakis along for the ride on his next movie. Downey, Jr. has to get to LA where his wife's giving birth to their first child. Circumstance has him kicked off the plane and he ends up on the road driving across America with his polar opposite, a bungler and his dog en route to Hollywood to become a great actor. The character clashes along the trip are often predictable, but no less funny.

With Planes, Trains & Automobiles written all over it, as a road movie comedy, this hits pretty much all the marks.
